Beverly Lomer received her
B.A. and M.A. in Music and her Ph.D. in Comparative Studies, with a
concentration in gender and music, from Florida Atlantic University. She
has studied recorder and early notation with Valerie Horst and Patricia
Petersen. She is the author of several reviews of early music for the
American Recorder Society and the Journal of the International Alliance
for Women and Music and is a member of the Tropical Winds Consort.
